KVIC Young Professional Eligibility

Candidates must possess a full-time postgraduate degree in the relevant field from a UGC-recognized university, recognized deemed university or an AICTE-approved institution.

Internship training will not be counted as work experience. Only direct work experience, including fixed-term employment, will be considered.

KVIC Advisor Eligibility

Advisor positions are open only to retired or voluntarily retired personnel from Government departments or Public Sector Undertakings.

• Candidates must possess at least 15 years of relevant experience.
• The required experience must relate to the specialization for which the candidate applies.
• The advertised specializations include Audit and Accounts, Administration, Estate and Services, Khadi, Legal, Marketing and SFURTI.

KVIC Senior Consultant Eligibility

Candidates must possess a postgraduate or management degree and at least five years of experience in the relevant field.

KVIC Salary Details

The remuneration offered to Young Professionals and Senior Consultants will depend on their qualifications and experience.

For retired or voluntarily retired Advisors, fixed remuneration will be calculated by deducting the basic pension from the last basic pay drawn at retirement. The amount will remain unchanged throughout the contract.

Contract Period

• The initial contractual engagement will be for one year.
• The contract may be extended for a further period of up to two years.
• Extension will depend on performance and KVIC’s continuing requirements.
• A fresh contract must be signed for every extension.
• The engagement does not provide any right to permanent appointment, absorption or regularization in KVIC.

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Good communication and writing skills
• Analytical and drafting ability
• Ability to prepare reports, notes, presentations and official correspondence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional integrity and commitment to assigned responsibilities
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters
• Knowledge of Government rules and procedures relevant to the selected discipline

KVIC Selection Process

1. Screening of online applications
2. Shortlisting based on qualification and experience

5. Final selection based on qualification, experience and interview performance

Candidates must carry their application printout and original photo identity proof when attending the interview. KVIC will not provide TA or DA for attending the interview.

Job Location

Young Professionals will be assigned to different directorates at the KVIC Central Office according to organizational requirements.
