Jharkhand Space Applications Center (JSAC), Ranchi has invited applications on a purely contractual basis for projects executed in JSAC. The recruitment drive offers 3 vacancies for Research Associate (RA) and Junior Project Assistant (JPA) posts. JSAC Salary

RA/JPA will not be entitled to any other benefits like Dearness Allowance, Provident Fund, Pension benefit, Gratuity, medical benefit, and annual increment etc. They are entitled only to casual leave as per rules and guidelines of Jharkhand Space Application Center and Govt. of Jharkhand.

JSAC Application Fee

Candidates must pay the application fee online to Jharkhand Space Applications Center Account No. – 490210110012465, IFSC Code – BKID0004902, Bank of India, Club Side Branch, Main Road, Ranchi, and fill the UTR No. & Date of payment in the online application form. Application fee once paid is non-refundable.

JSAC Selection Process

Candidates will be screened out on the basis of minimum required qualification. Screened candidates will be called for an interview, and the final list will be prepared based on the merit of the interview. A written test may also be conducted, if required, for short-listing candidates.

How to Apply for JSAC

1. Visit the official website of JSAC at https://jsac.jharkhand.gov.in for online registration starting from 21.10.2026 at 03:00 PM.
2. Pay the required application fee online through bank transfer and note down the UTR Number and date of payment.
3. Complete the online application form by filling in all required details, including UTR No. and payment date, before 09:00 PM on 18.11.2026.
4. Take a printout of the duly filled online application form.
5. Attach self-attested true copies of all required documents and the original copy of online payment proof with UTR number, date of payment, full name, and application number written on it.
6. Place the documents in a sealed envelope superscribed with “Application for the post of …………………….”.
7. Send the hard copy by Speed Post only to “The Director, Jharkhand Space Applications Center, Department of IT & e- Governance, Govt. of Jharkhand, 2nd Floor, Engineers Hostel -1, Near Gol Chakkar, Dhurwa, Ranchi, Jharkhand, PIN- 834004” on or before 25.11.2026 till 5:00 PM.

Documents Required

• Mark-sheets of SSC, Intermediate, Graduation, Post Graduation, Diploma, Ph.D and any other documents related with qualification as desired & applicable
• Work experience Certificate, if required
• Certificate of Matriculation as proof of date of birth
• Caste Certificate issued by competent authority
• Recent Residential Certificate by competent authority
• Original copy of proofs of online payment with UTR number and date of payment with full name and application no. written on it
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) if candidates are already in service

JSAC Important Instructions

• The appointment will be purely contractual on project basis for a minimum period of one year and may be extended as per project guidelines.
• Reservation rules of the Government of Jharkhand apply only to BC-I/BC-II, SC, and ST candidates of Jharkhand State. Reserved candidates from other states are treated as General candidates.
• If applying for more than one post, candidates must submit a separate application and pay the prescribed fee separately for each post.
• Incomplete applications, applications without required attachments, and those received after the due date will be summarily rejected.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the written test or interview.
• The place of posting is Ranchi, but the incumbent is liable to be posted anywhere in Jharkhand State as and when required.
