Who Can Apply for IOPB Recruitment 2026?

Other conditions:

• Candidates employed in Central/ State Government, Autonomous Bodies, PSUs or Government-funded institutions should apply through proper channel.
• Selected candidates may be required to work in laboratories, service areas, residential/ campus facilities and shifts.
• Each Post Code represents one vacancy. Separate application must be submitted for each Post Code.

Desirable:

• Electrical: Lineman (MV) certificate/ licence awarded by Electrical Inspector of State Government. Industrial experience in electrical maintenance.
• Mechanical/ Refrigeration & Air Conditioning: Sound knowledge/ experience in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems and air compressors.
• Mason: Relevant experience in institutional/ residential/ hospital/ commercial buildings.

Tradesman (Electrical/ Electronics) (1 post)

Qualification required: SSC/ 10th with minimum 60% marks OR HSC/ 12th with Science & Mathematics, together with ITI/ Trade Certificate of at least one year duration in Electrician/ Electronic Trade. The upper age limit is 25 years and the pay is Level 2 Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC.

Tradesman (Mechanical/ Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) (1 post)

Qualification required: SSC/ 10th with minimum 60% marks OR HSC/ 12th with Science & Mathematics, together with ITI/ Trade Certificate of at least one year duration in Mechanical/ Refrigeration & Air conditioning Trade. The upper age limit is 25 years and the pay is Level 2 Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC.

Tradesman (Mason) (1 post)

Qualification required: SSC/ 10th with minimum 60% marks OR HSC/ 12th with Science & Mathematics, together with ITI Certificate/ National or State Trade Certificate of at least one year duration in Mason Trade. The upper age limit is 25 years and the pay is Level 2 Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC.

• Two years probation, subject to applicable rules.
