• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering
• Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering
• Ph.D. in Material Science
• Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply.
• Demonstrated research expertise in at least one of the following areas: Computational Mechanics (Fracture and damage mechanics, phase-field modeling, gradient damage modeling), Auxetic Structures (Design, numerical analysis, optimization and experimental characterization), or Composite Materials (Experimental and computational analysis experience of CFRPs and GFRPs, including mechanical characterization, damage and failure analysis).
• Strong background of computational and experimental mechanics, expertise in finite element analysis, scientific programming and advanced experimental techniques will be an added advantage.
