IIT Indore Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 5 Posts

Five Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions are open under the ANRF PAIR SAKSHAM project, with one fellow to be taken per project. The application deadline has been extended to 10 November 2026, and the interview has moved to 12 November 2026. Candidates need post-graduation in Basic Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy or Technology along with a CSIR/UGC-NET/SET or GATE/GPAT qualification. The fellowship is Rs. 37,000 a month plus 10% HRA as per norms.

About IITI-SVV

The project hub is listed as IITI-SVV, Ujjain, and links the Indian Institute of Technology Indore (the hub institution) with Samrat Vikramaditya Vishwavidyalaya, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh (the spoke institution). Age Limit

The upper age limit is 32 years as on 1 November 2026. It is relaxed by 5 years for SC, ST, OBC, Female and PH candidates.

Educational Qualification

• Post-graduation in Basic Sciences/Engineering/Pharmacy/Technology from a UGC recognized University/Institute/Autonomous bodies.
• 60% aggregate marks for GEN candidates and 55% aggregate marks for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PH candidates.
• CSIR/UGC-NET/SET or GATE/GPAT qualification.

Experience

Prior experience in basic techniques applied in Advanced Material, Environmental Sustainability and Energy Technology, and Health and Medical Technologies.

Priority for Madhya Pradesh Domicile

Applicants from the SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PH categories who hold a valid Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate will be given priority, if found suitable.

Selection Process

Selection is by interview, and only shortlisted candidates will be called. The interview schedule will be conveyed through the University website or by email. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

Service Conditions

• The initial appointment runs up to 31 March 2027 and is likely to continue till the project ends.
• The project will be implemented at Indian Institute of Technology Indore in collaboration with Samrat Vikramaditya Vishwavidyalaya, Ujjain.
• The workplace may vary from time to time as per project requirements.
