IIT Goa Part-Time Student Counsellor Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in

IIT Goa is conducting a walk-in interview for 01 Part-Time Student Counsellor vacancy on 27 October 2026 under Advertisement No. IITGoa/RECT/NT-CON/2026-09. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Applied Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or Psychology with a PG Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, along with two years of relevant experience, can attend. Eligible candidates must report by 10:00 AM at IIT Goa, Farmagudi, Ponda, with the required documents. The interview begins at 10:30 AM.

Posts and Eligibility

The engagement is for 01 vacancy of Part-Time Student Counsellor under advertisement number IITGoa/RECT/NT-CON/2026 -09.

Essential Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology/Applied Psychology/Counselling Psychology from a recognized university with relevant experience of two years in an academic/medical Institution after the qualifying degree. Or,
• Master’s degree in Psychology and Post Graduate diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy with relevant experience of two years in an academic/medical Institution after the qualifying degree.

Desirable:

• Candidates who have counselling experience in any Higher Educational Institute will be given preference.

Type of Engagement & Duty Hours: One Contract, initially for a period of six months, extendable further based on performance and requirements. The person shall make three visits per week, with a total of 20 duty hours per week.

What Happens on the Day
