IIT Delhi Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

• Jr. Research Fellow: 1st class M.Sc. in Physics/ Photonics or 1st class B.E./ B.Tech. in Engineering/ Physics/ Optical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science and Engineering. Must have qualified national-level examination such as GATE, UGC-NET or equivalent. Desirable: hands-on experience in spectroscopic instrumentation and Raman spectroscopy. NET/ GATE relaxed for CFTI graduates with CGPA >8.000.
• Research Associate: Ph.D. in Physics/ Optical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Computer Science or related field. Desirable: understanding of lasers and photodetectors (CCD/ CMOS, ICCD, APD, SPADs), hands-on spectroscopic instrumentation, at least two SCI-indexed research papers, experience in writing papers/ reports/ patents.
