Age Limit

Essential Qualification

Post Graduate degree in sciences. Only candidates with this qualification will be considered for the interview.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in drafting of patent, copyrights, designs and other IPR documents
• Experience in valuation of technologies
• Prior art search, response preparation to evaluation reports
• Understanding on IPR tools and laws

Important Dates

Selection Process

1. Applications are screened.
2. Eligible candidates are informed about further interview details by email or over phone.
3. Candidates attend the “Physical/online Interview” on 26 November 2026.

The place of interview is the Committee Room, Division of Germplasm Evaluation, ICAR-NBPGR Old building campus. Originals will be verified at the time of interview, while those of candidates appearing online will be verified at a later stage. The Director’s decision is final and binding in all aspects.

Service Conditions

• The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
• The selected candidate has no right to claim regularization or absorption in ICAR/NBPGR.
• The Director reserves the right to terminate the contract even before the project is completed, and no appeal can be made against this.
• The selected candidate must produce a medical certificate at the time of joining.
• Concealing facts or canvassing in any form leads to disqualification or termination.
• Any dispute will be resolved in the jurisdiction of New Delhi court only.
