GGU Junior Research Fellow I Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGU) has notified 1 vacancy for the Junior Research Fellow I (JRF-I) post under a contract engagement. The position is purely temporary and contractual, with tenure initially for six months or till completion of the project. The pay is Rs. 32,000 per month Fixed. Candidates must hold a UG Degree in a relevant field from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks. Who Can Apply

Essential Qualification: UG Degree in a relevant field (such as Engineering, Sciences, Management, etc., or related disciplines) from a recognized University/Institute, with a minimum of 55% marks.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Candidates possessing a Master’s degree in a relevant field or discipline from a recognized University/Institution will be preferable.
• Relevant experience in technology development, technology transfer, innovation management, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem, incubation, industry liaison, project management, and technology commercialization will be preferred.
• Good communication, report writing, documentation, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Research/project experience in academic institutions, research organizations, innovation Centre’s, incubation centres, or related organizations will be preferred.
• Experience in handling Government-funded projects/schemes will be preferred.

Pay and Tenure

The consolidated salary is fixed at Rs. 32,000 per month. The appointment is purely temporary and contractual, co-terminus with the project. The initial tenure is for six months or till completion of the project, and it may be extended based on project requirements.

Selection and Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Fulfilment of minimum qualifications shall not entitle a candidate to be called for the interview. The tentative date of interview is 16/11/2026 at 10 AM at DST-TEC Centre, Old Forestry Building, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Koni, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
