ESIC Recruitment 2026 – Walkin for 22 Specialist, Senior Resident Posts

Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released the official Specialist and Senior Resident Notification 2026. A total of 22 vacancies have been announced under the ESIC Specialist and Senior Resident Recruitment 2026. Eligible candidates with an MBBS degree along with a relevant PG Degree, PG Diploma, or equivalent qualification can attend the walk-in interview on 18 August 2026. The maximum age limit is 67 years for Specialists, 45 years for Senior Residents (3-Year), and 30 years for Senior Residents (1-Year). A total of 28 vacancies are available – 1 for Part Time Specialist / Full Time Specialist, 1 for Part Time Specialist (Dentistry), 1 for Part Time Specialist (Radiology), 1 for Part Time Specialist (Ophthalmology), 1 for Part Time Specialist (Psychiatry), 1 for Part Time Specialist (General Medicine), 1 for Full Time Specialist (General Medicine), 1 for Full Time Specialist (Orthopaedics), 2 for Full Time Specialist (Anaesthesiology), 1 for Full Time Specialist (Dentistry (Endodontist)), 1 for Full Time Specialist (Radiology), 1 for Full Time Specialist (Ophthalmology), 1 for Full Time Specialist (Psychiatry), 1 for Full Time Specialist (General Surgery), 4 for Senior Resident (03 Year), 3 for Senior Resident (03 Year) (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), 2 for Senior Resident (03 Year) (Orthopaedics), 2 for Senior Resident (03 Year) (Radiology), and 2 for Senior Resident (03 Year) (General Surgery).

ESIC Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

• Part Time Specialist / Full Time Specialist: MBBS with PG Degree or Diploma or Equivalent in concerned specialty from Recognized University with 3 years experience after acquiring PG Degree OR minimum of 5 years experience after Graduate Diploma. For Endodontics, PG Degree (MDS) in Endodontics specialty from Recognized University with 3 Years experience is required.
• Senior Resident (03 Year): MBBS with PG Degree or Diploma or Equivalent in concerned specialty from Recognized University. For some posts, MBBS Doctors with two years of experience out of which one year of experience in General Medicine/ General Surgery from Government hospital/ private hospital (not a private clinic) can be selected.
• Senior Resident (01 Year): MBBS Degree from NMC recognized Medical College / Institution with two years experience out of which 1 year of experience in General medicine / General Surgery from Govt. Hospital/ Private Hospital, (not a private clinic). Candidate must have completed Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship and must produce internship completion certificate at the time of interview. Should have registered with NMC or Tamil Nadu State Medical Council.

ESIC Recruitment 2026 – Age Limit

• Part Time Specialist / Full Time Specialist: Maximum age is 67 years. Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-serviceman as per rules.
• Senior Resident (03 Year): Maximum age is 45 years. Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-serviceman as per rules.
• Senior Resident (01 Year): Maximum age is 30 years. Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-serviceman as per rules (No age relaxation for unreserved vacancies).

ESIC Recruitment 2026 – Salary / Stipend

• Full Time Specialist: Consolidated remuneration Rs.1,42,514/-
• Part Time Specialist: Part Time with Rs. 60,000/- (16 hrs/week) + Rs. 800/hr for every additional hour above 16 hours/week
• Senior Resident (03 Year): Consolidated remuneration Rs. 1,42,514/-
• Senior Resident (01 Year): Consolidated remuneration Rs. 1,19,082/-
