The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital located in Okhla, New Delhi functions under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. Posts and Eligibility

1. Senior Resident (Under Residency Scheme)

Total Vacancies: 19. Department-wise breakdown: Anesthesiology + ICU (02: EWS-1, SC-1), Dermatology (01: OBC-1), Gynae (01: OBC-1), Pathology (01: OBC-1), Paediatrics + NICU (05: OBC-2, SC-2, ST-1), Psychiatry (01: OBC-1), Radiology (02: OBC-1, SC-1), Surgery (04: OBC-1, SC-2, ST-1), Medical Oncology (01: ST-1), Nephrology (01: ST-1). Total category-wise: UR-0, EWS-1, OBC-8, SC-6, ST-4.

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from recognized university, registered with Delhi Medical Council or Medical Council of India are eligible for the post of Senior Resident under Residency Scheme. However, if Post Graduate or Diploma doctors are not available, MBBS doctors without PG degree with two years of experience out of which 1 year of experience in the concerned Speciality from Government hospital /Private hospital, (NOT A PRIVATE CLINIC) may be appointed for 01 Year, as Senior Resident on contract basis. In accordance with the latest guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC/MCI). In case of non-availability of Super-Speciality Senior Residents (MCh/DM) for Super-Speciality departments, the Senior Residents from the concerned parent Broad Specialities will be considered.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on 03.11.2026 (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rule).

Emoluments: Rs. 67,700/- as per level -11 of the 7th CPC matrix + other allowances per month as per rules applicable. (An amount of Rs. 1350/- to be deducted if the SRs possess only diploma). Emoluments for Non-PG SR one-year contract: Total Consolidated Pay of Rs. 1,50,294/- as per rule.

2. Full Time Contractual Specialist

Total Vacancies: 13. Department-wise breakdown: Anaesthesia + ICU (01: SC-1), Bio-Chemistry (01: UR-1), Chest (01: UR-1), Dental (Endodontist) (01: OBC-1), Eye (01: UR-1), Gynae (01: OBC-1), Medicine (02: UR-1, OBC-1), Radiology (03: UR-1, EWS-1, OBC-1), Accident & Emergency (02: UR-1, OBC-1). Total category-wise: UR-6, EWS-1, OBC-5, SC-1, ST-0.

Qualification: MBBS with Post Graduate degree/diploma in concerned speciality from a recognized University with 3 years’ experience after acquiring the Post Graduate Degree or 5 Years’ experience after acquiring the Post Graduate Diploma and registered with Delhi Medical Council or Medical Council of India. For Dental- MDS(Having speciality in Endodontist) with 3 years’ experience after acquiring the Post Graduate Degree and registered with Delhi Dental Council or National Dental Commission.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 69 years on the date of interview i.e. on 03.11.2026.

Emoluments: FOR JUNIOR SPECIALIST (Level 11; 3 Yrs. Exp. post PG as per RR) Rs. 1,50,294/-. FOR SENIOR SPECIALIST (Level 12; 5 Yrs. Exp. post PG as per RR) Rs 1,74,936/-.

3. Full Time Contractual Super Specialist / Part Time Contractual Super Specialist

Total Vacancies: 08. Specialties: Cardiology (01), Medical Oncology (01), Nephrology (01), Gastroenterology (01), Neurology (01), Endocrinology (01), Urology (01), Rheumatology (01).

Qualification: MBBS, MD/MS/DNB with DM/DNB/M.Ch in Concerned Super Speciality from MCI recognized Medical College and registered with Delhi Medical Council or Medical Council of India. Entry Level: Three years’ experience in concerned Super-Speciality after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree or five years’ experience after the Postgraduate diploma. Senior Level: Five years’ experience in concerned Super-Speciality after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 69 years as on 03.11.2026.

Emoluments: For Full Time Contractual Super Specialist: Super Specialist (Entry level) Rs. 2,00,000/month; Consultant (Senior Level) Rs. 2,40,000/month. For Part Time Contractual Super Specialist (4 hrs/ per day & 4 days week): Entry Level Option 1: Rs.1,00,000 + (Rs.20000 for visiting charge in case of emergency call); additional remuneration Rs. 1200 for every additional hour beyond 16 Hrs/week. Consultant Sr. Level Option 1: Rs.1,50,000 + (Rs.20000 for visiting charge in case of emergency call); additional remuneration Rs.1500 for every additional hour beyond 16 Hrs/week.

What to Bring

• Pre-filled prescribed format (Annexure A, B and C).
• Attested photocopies of Matriculation Certificate, Proof of age.
• Caste Certificate (OBC/SC/ST/PH/EWS) in the format prescribed by Govt. of India. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate should be issued and not prior to 01 (One) Year from the date of cut-off date as mentioned.
• MBBS/BDS, Diploma/Degree Certificate/MDS.
• Valid DMC/MCI/DDC/NDC registration.
• Internship Completion Certificate.
• Experience Certificate(s), if applicable.
• Two recent passport size photographs.
• Proof of residence and Identity Proof [PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhar Card etc.].

What Happens on the Day

Interested candidates may apply for interview by submitting the pre-filled prescribed format (Annexure A, B and C) on the day of interview with attested photocopies of required certificates along with originals. Candidates should also bring two recent passport size photographs along with proof of residence.

ESIC Recruitment 2026 Important Instructions

• Private practices of any kind will not be allowed for full time contractual engagements. If found guilty, suitable action as provided under the relevant rules shall be taken.
• On engagement the selected candidate shall be required to deposit an amount of Rs. 10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) through demand draft/banker’s cheque payable at New Delhi in favour of ‘ESIC Fund account no. 1’at the time of joining, which shall be refundable after completion of tenure (minimum three-month service including notice period (30 days)) and production of “No Dues Certificate”.
• At the time of joining selected contractual candidates will have to sign an “AGREEMENT” as per ESIC norms on non-judiciary stamp paper of Rs. 100/-.
• The candidate who is in service should submit “No Objection Certificate” from the employer at the time of Interview.
• The absence from work of 10 days without proper permission of the Competent Authority will amount to abandonment of engagement and no order of disengagement shall be necessary.
• If the selected candidate resigns his/her contract within 06 months of commencement of the contract Experience Certificate will not be issued & in case of termination his/her experience certificate will be forbidden or not be issued.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the walk-in-interview or for joining the post.
