About DCCM Nilgiris

Experience

Experience is not compulsory. Candidates who have work experience for at least one year may be given first priority.

Residence

Candidates must be residents of the Nilgiris district.

Age Limit

DCCM Nilgiris Technical Assistant-1 Job Description

The notice lists these roles and responsibilities for the Technical Assistant:

• Promote coordination and synergy among line departments for effective environmental protection and climate action.
• Coordinate DCCM activities, organize capacity-building programmes and document successful climate initiatives.
• Act as a link between DoE&CC at the State level and the District Climate Change Mission at district level.
• Conduct DCCM Meetings once every two months and submit the Minutes of Meeting to the Government through the Director, DoE&CC within 15 days.
• Review innovation, monitor existing schemes and plan upcoming activities and stakeholder engagement during each meeting.
