Selections are made through a walk-in interview. In the event of a large number of applications, the duly constituted committee will adopt criteria to shortlist candidates through percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification, higher educational qualifications, desirable qualification/experience, or any other methodology deemed fit.

CSIR CFTRI Important Instructions
No candidate will be allowed to appear in the interview without original certificates.
No TA/DA will be given to candidates for attending the interview.
The total period of engagement of project personnel across CSIR labs cumulatively shall not exceed 06 years.
Applicants who have completed the total tenure of 6 years in any CSIR lab/institute as project staff are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
Selected candidates must submit one month’s prior notice or deposit one month’s stipend in lieu if they wish to discontinue before tenure completion.
Canvassing in any form will be treated as a disqualification.
The engagement is initially for a period up to March 2027 and may be extendable up to October 2027 based on requirements and project duration.
