Green Marshal Salary / Remuneration

The engagement is purely temporary and for one year, and does not confer any right or claim to regular appointment, permanent employment, continuation, renewal, or absorption in the Directorate of Tourism, CMD, or Government service.

Green Marshal Selection Process

  • Shortlisting is done district-wise based on the percentage of marks obtained in the SSLC/equivalent qualifying examination, subject to eligibility and document verification. Percentage is calculated as Marks Obtained ÷ Maximum Marks × 100, system-calculated from the marks entered and verified against original documents.
  • Final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in an interview/proficiency assessment conducted by the Directorate of Tourism.
  • Where two or more candidates have the same SSLC percentage, preference is given to local residents of the district, subject to production and verification of valid residence proof.
  • Where SSLC percentages are equal and local preference does not resolve the tie, the older candidate (based on date of birth) ranks higher.

Terms of Engagement

  • The applicant must be physically fit to perform Green Marshal duties. The competent authority may require a medical fitness certificate/examination before engagement, where necessary.
  • Selected candidates shall abide by the duty schedule, reporting arrangements, and deployment directions issued by the competent authority.
  • The Directorate of Tourism/CMD reserves the right to revise the number of vacancies, modify or cancel the notification, or discontinue the recruitment process, subject to administrative requirements.

Documents & Verification

  • Applicants must upload clear and legible documents as prescribed in the online application. Original/provisional qualification certificates and supporting documents must be produced when required for verification.
  • Information entered in the application must match the original documents. False, fabricated, tampered, or suppressed information will result in rejection or cancellation of candidature/engagement.
  • CMD/the Directorate of Tourism reserves the right to seek additional documentary evidence to verify qualification, age, residence, experience, or other eligibility claims.
  • Incomplete, incorrect, or unverifiable applications may be rejected. Information furnished after final submission will not ordinarily be entertained.
