Civil Court Gumla Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for Peon/ Orderly Posts

Civil Court Gumla has announced 17 vacancies for the Peon / Orderly post under advertisement number 01/2026. Eligible candidates must submit their offline application by post or by hand to the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Civil Court, Gumla on or before 20 November 2026. Applicants for the Peon / Orderly post require a 10th (Matric) pass or equivalent qualification, and the notified pay scale is Rs. 18,000-56,900/- (Level-1). The selection process for these posts consists of a Screening Test followed by an Interview.

Where and How to Send

Candidates must send their self-written application form and admit card in Devanagari script addressed to the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Civil Court, Gumla, PIN – 835207. Applications can be submitted personally by hand or sent through registered post or speed post during working days between 10:30 AM and 05:00 PM.

Envelopes must clearly superscribe the advertisement number, name of the applied post, and category in large, clean letters. Applicants must attach 3 recent passport-size photographs (one pasted on the application form, one on the admit card, and one extra) along with a self-addressed envelope measuring 25 cm x 11 cm affixed with postal stamps worth Rs. 56/- for dispatch of the admit card.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th (Matric) examination or equivalent from a recognized board.

Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 18 years old as of 15.10.2026. The maximum age limit is 35 years for General (Unreserved) candidates, 38 years for women, and 40 years for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates (male/female). Age limits and reservation benefits are applicable as per Jharkhand State rules, and service conditions are governed by the Civil Court Rules.

Other Eligibility Conditions: Candidates must be citizens of India, mentally and physically healthy, possess good moral character, and not be involved in any criminal cases or convicted. Married candidates must not have more than one living spouse. Reservations and horizontal reservations for women, persons with disabilities (PwBD), and sports quotas apply as per government rules with valid certificates issued by competent authorities.
