Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has officially released the Recruitment 2026 notification (Advt. No. ADMN-12012/1/2019-CERC) for 17 vacancies. Eligible candidates with qualifications including MBA in Finance, CA/CMA, postgraduate degrees in Law, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or relevant graduate qualifications, as prescribed for each post, and aged up to 56 years can apply offline. CERC Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
- Joint Chief (Fin): MBA in Finance or certified Chartered Accountant or certified Cost Accountant preferably with Engineering Degree.
- Deputy Chief (RA): MBA in Finance or Post Graduate in Law/Engineering/Regulation.
- Assistant Secretary (FOR): Graduate Degree with PG Diploma in Financial Management.
- Assistant Chief (Eco): Post Graduate Degree in Economics with specialization in econometrics or Post Graduate in Mathematics with specialization in O.R. or Post Graduate degree in Statistics.
- Assistant Chief (Engg): Graduate Degree in Engineering with relaxation to Diploma in Engineering for members of the Central Power Engineering (Group ‘A’) Services.
- Assistant Chief (Fin): MBA in Finance or certified Chartered Accountant or certified Cost Accountant preferably with Engineering Degree.
- Pay and Accounts Officer: Graduate Degree preferably in Commerce.
- Sr. Account Officer: Graduate Degree preferably in Commerce.
- Private Secretary: Must be Computer literate and proficient in MS Office.
- Assistant: Preferably computer literate proficient in MS Office.
