BEE Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 23 Joint Director, Deputy Director and Other Posts

Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) is recruiting candidates for 23 vacancies including Joint Director (Technical), Joint Director (Non-Technical), Deputy Director (Technical), Deputy Director (Non-Technical), Assistant Director (Finance) and Assistant Director (HR) posts on a deputation basis. Candidates must forward their offline application in the prescribed proforma through proper channel to the Secretary, Bureau of Energy Efficiency on or before 30 October 2026. Qualifications and pay levels vary by post, with Joint Director posts offering Pay level-12 (Rs. 78,800-2,09,200), Deputy Director posts providing Pay level-11 (Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700), and Assistant Director posts carrying Level-10 of Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500). Selection is carried out by a Selection Committee based on the Curriculum Vitae and submitted documents.

Eligibility and Qualifications

• Age Limit: The maximum age-limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed fifty-six years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
• Joint Director (Technical): Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or with 5 years regular service in pay level-11; plus Master degree in Economics, Physics, Mathematics, or Chemistry OR Bachelor degree in Engineering; plus energy auditor certificate; plus 10 years post-qualification experience in energy efficiency in industry, transport, or building.
• Joint Director (Non-Technical): Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or with 5 years regular service in pay level-11; plus Bachelor’s degree OR MBA with specialisation in Finance/HR; plus 10 years post-qualification experience in establishment, administration, Accounts, or Vigilance.
• Deputy Director (Technical): Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or with 5 years regular service in pay level-10; plus Master degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Economics OR Bachelor degree in Engineering; plus energy manager or energy auditor certificate; plus 5 years post-qualification experience in energy efficiency in industry, transport, or building.
• Deputy Director (Non-Technical): Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or with 5 years regular service in pay level-10; plus Bachelor’s degree OR MBA with specialisation in Finance/HR; plus 5 years post-qualification experience in establishment, administration, Accounts, or Vigilance.
• Assistant Director (Finance): Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or with 4 years service in pay level-8, or 5 years service in pay level-7; plus Bachelor’s degree OR MBA in Finance; plus minimum 3 years experience in finance, accounts, and budget related works.
• Assistant Director (HR): Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or with 4 years service in pay level-8, or 5 years service in pay level-7; plus Bachelor’s degree OR MBA in Human Resources; plus minimum 3 years experience in general administration and establishment related works.
