The age limit for General Candidates is between 18 and 35 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Class 10th Board Certificate/Mark sheet will only be taken as proof of date of birth.

AWEIL Salary

Contractual employees will be paid a consolidated monthly salary, inclusive of Basic Pay as per existing CPC (Level-1) and Dearness Allowance as per government rules. Remuneration is calculated at the rate of 1/30th of the pay at the basic of the relevant pay scale plus Dearness Allowance for work of 08 hours a day. An annual increase of 3% during the tenure is admissible on the Basic Pay, subject to satisfactory performance.

AWEIL Selection Process

The selection process comprises a Trade Test/Practical Test, Document Verification, and an interview.

• Trade Test: Selection is based on marks scored in the NCTVT (NCVT) Trade Test / Practical Test only, in order of merit. The weightage of marks in the NCTVT Exam and Trade Test/Practical Test will be 80% and 20% respectively.
• Document Verification: Candidates qualifying in the NCTVT and Trade Test/Practical Test will be called for Document Verification in the order of merit, limited to the number of posts notified discipline/category-wise.
• Interview: Eligible candidates will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:10 between vacancies and eligible candidates.

AWEIL Important Instructions

• Engagement is on a full-time contractual basis initially for a period of 01 year, extendable for a maximum period of 02 years (01 year original and 01 year extension) after appraisal and review.
• Employees will work as per the production schedule, typically 08 hours per day, 06 days per week (48 hours per week).
• Contractual employees are entitled to 12 days of paid leave per year, pro-rated based on contract duration.
• Unused leave cannot be carried forward or encashed, and employees shall generally not take more than 05 days leave in a month.
• Selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness test before joining.
• TA/DA will be paid to SC/ST candidates for appearing in Document Verification as per government instructions.
• Incomplete or unsigned applications will be summarily rejected.
