Army Public School Beas has announced 13 vacancies including PGT, TGT, Science Lab Attendant, Supervisor Administration, Head Clerk, Warden, Nursing Assistant (Female), and Dorm Attendant posts on a contract and adhoc basis. Eligible candidates must apply through the prescribed offline process by submitting their completed applications to the School Office, Army Public School Beas on or before 30 October 2026 through Registered/Speed Post ONLY. The application form is available at the School Office for Rs. 250 or from the School Website, requiring submission with the requisite fee through Demand Draft in favour of ‘Principal, Army Public School Beas’, payable at Beas only. Qualifications vary by post, and candidates having a minimum of one year’s experience will be preferred.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Educational Qualifications & Age Criteria:

• PGT – Physical Education: B.P.Ed./ B.P.E with 55% marks and M.P.Ed with at least 2 years duration from a recognised institution. Fresh candidates: Below 40 years; Experienced candidates: Below 55 years of age with a minimum of 05 years of teaching experience during the last 10 years.
• TGT (Health & Wellness Teacher): Graduate in Psychology with a Certificate/Diploma in Counselling OR Graduate in Psychology or Graduate with Diploma in Psychology in schools where Psychology is taught as a subject at 10+2 level. Candidates with prior experience as a Wellness Teacher/Counsellor will be given preference. Age limits same as PGT.
• TGT – Computer Science: BCA or Graduation in Computer Science or B.E./B.Tech. (Computer Science/IT) OR Graduation in any subject with an A-Level course from DOEACC, Ministry of Information & Communication Technology, Government of India. Age limits same as PGT.
• TGT – Special Educator: Graduation & B.Ed (Special Education) with 50% Marks or B.Ed General with one/ two year Diploma in Special Education or Post Graduation Diploma in Special Education. Age limits same as PGT.
• TGT – Archery Coach: Graduate with Diploma in Coaching from NIS. Expertise in Archery with national/international-level proficiency. Age limits same as PGT.
• Science Lab Attendant: 12th Pass with science and computer literacy. Age limits same as PGT.
• Supervisor Administration: Preferably retired JCO/Honorary rank personnel with administrative experience. Knowledge of handling Master Ledger of stores, store/equipment maintenance and man-management. Adequate working knowledge of computers. Age below 55 years at the time of joining; 57 years for Ex-Servicemen. Stay in campus is mandatory.
• Head Clerk: Preferably an Ex-Serviceman of Clerk category upto the age of 55 years. 5-10 years’ experience in Office Management, account handling as Head Clerk with high proficiency in staff duties and drafting experience. Computer Savvy- MS Office, etc. Educational Qualification – Minimum Graduate in case of civilian. Should not have any disciplinary case against him in the entire service.
• Warden: Only Ex-Servicemen with a minimum of 10 years of service are eligible to apply. Below 55 years of age.
• Nursing Assistant (Female): B.Sc. (Nursing) or Diploma in ANM/GNM with experience in the same capacity. Stay in campus is mandatory. Age limits same as PGT.
• Dorm Attendant (Boys’ / Girls’ Hostel): Matriculation/10+2. Stay in hostel is mandatory. Age limits same as PGT.

Selection Process

Computer Test for TGTs (PGT (Phy Edn), TGTs (Counsellor, Computer Science & Special Educator less Archery Coach) followed by Interview, Teaching Skills Assessment and hands-on experience assessment, as applicable. Computer test for Supervisor Administration & Head Clerk, followed by Interview and hands-on experience assessment, as applicable, for all posts.
