Who Cannot Apply for ANDUAT Recruitment 2026

• Persons convicted by any Court of Law or against whom criminal proceedings are pending
• Persons who have married a person having a spouse living, or who having a spouse living have married any person (exemption possible by Competent Authority)
• Persons who are not citizens of India
• Holders of degrees from institutions declared fake by UGC
• Any other category disqualified by the Government of India/DARE/ICAR

Professor (Fruit Science) (2 posts)

Qualification required: Master’s degree in Fruit Science / Pomology / Master’s degree in Horticulture / Agriculture with specialization in Fruit Science / Fruit Crop Improvement & Genetic Resources / Fruit Tree Nutrition, with Ph.D. and experience as advertised. Age limit: Minimum 18 years. Pay: Academic Scale (Level 14) with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200.

Professor (Post Harvest Technology) (1 post)

Qualification required: Master’s degree in Post-Harvest Management / Technology / Horticulture with specialization in Post-Harvest Technology / Master’s degree in Agriculture with specialization in Post-Harvest Management/Technology, with Ph.D. and experience as advertised. Age limit: Minimum 18 years. Pay: Academic Scale (Level 14) with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200.

Professor (Floriculture & Landscaping) (1 post)

Qualification required: Master’s degree in Floriculture and Landscaping / Master’s degree in Horticulture or Agriculture with specialization in Floriculture and Landscaping, with Ph.D. and experience as advertised. Qualification required: Master of Technology in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering / Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering, with Ph.D. and experience as advertised. Pay and Terms of Engagement

• The post will be filled on regular basis; posts are temporary but likely to continue
• Service conditions including pay matrix level and age of superannuation as per Government of Uttar Pradesh rules

• May be assigned any duty within the University or outside depending upon the exigency of work

• Screening of applications on the basis of Academic/Research Score (minimum 120 for Professor) as per Table 2, Appendix-II of UGC Regulation 2018
• Interview of 20 marks (Phase-II); final selection solely on interview performance
• Screening by Academic/Research Score as per Table 2, Appendix-II of UGC Regulation 2018; at least 120 qualifies for Professor
• Research score from minimum three of six categories
• A high level committee reviews the API Score to issue interview call letters
• Final selection solely on interview of 20 marks (Phase-II) as per letter E-4229/GS dated 02 July 2021
• Selection may be by qualifying test/written test/presentation/interview or a combination thereof

1. Download the application form from the university website www.nduat.org.
2. Attach a Demand Draft of the fee in favour of Comptroller, ANDUAT, payable at SBI, ANDUAT, branch PITHLA (06925).
3. Enclose the listed documents and two self-addressed envelopes with Rs. 56/- postage stamp.
4. Write the post, serial number of post, advertisement number and last date on top of the envelope.
5. Send by Registered/Speed Post only to Director, Administration and Monitoring, ANDUAT, Kumarganj, Ayodhya, 224 229 (U.P.); must reach by 05-12-2026, 5.00 PM.
6. Employed persons apply through proper channel; this copy must reach within 30 days after the closing date, with an advance copy allowed.
