Medical candidates are paid as per the 7th CPC, in Pay Level-11 of the Pay Matrix, with an entry pay of Rs. 67,700/- plus NPA and other allowances. Non-medical candidates (M.Sc with Ph.D) get Rs. 56,100 in Level-10 under the 7th CPC plus other allowances.

Reservation Rules and Category Certificates

• Reservation for OBC, EWS, SC and ST candidates follows Central Government rules, and PwBD reservation is 4% on a horizontal basis.
• OBC candidates need a valid non-creamy layer certificate in the prescribed format, issued on or after 1 April 2026. Their sub-caste must match the Central List of OBCs.
• EWS candidates need a valid certificate in the prescribed format, also issued on or after 1 April 2026.
• SC, ST, OBC and EWS certificates must be issued by a Tahsildar or an authority of higher rank.
• Unfilled EWS posts are not carried forward, so UR candidates may also apply provisionally against them.
• PwBD reservation is open to persons with not less than 40% physical disability, who must submit a Disability Certificate from a competent authority.

Selection Process

Selection is on the basis of the interview only. If the number of applicants is high, the Institute will hold a screening test of MCQs in the subject concerned and then interview the shortlisted candidates.

• Document verification takes place before the interview, and the Screening Committee may shortlist candidates based on the verification of original documents.
• Candidates report to the Ground Floor, Admin and Library Building, AIIMS Mangalagiri, Guntur (Dist), Andhra Pradesh, 522503.
• Marks of the written test (if applicable) or interview are not displayed, and there is no re-checking or re-evaluation.
• Interview turns may be delayed depending on the number of applicants.
• No travelling or other allowances are paid for attending the screening test or interview, or for joining the post.

Service Conditions

• The appointment is under the Government of India’s Residency Scheme, and engagement is regulated as per the CCS (Temporary Service Rules).
• Either side can end the appointment by giving one month’s notice or paying one month’s salary, without assigning any reason.
• The appointment can also be terminated for failure to complete the period of three months to the satisfaction of the competent authority.
• Appointees may work in shifts and can be posted at any place in the Institute, at the discretion of the Medical Superintendent, Dean or Director.
• Additional duties may be assigned, with no extra allowance.
• Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion and other benefits of regular Government servants are not available.
• Leave follows Institute rules and Government of India instructions.
• No NOC will be given within one month of joining, and no experience certificate will be given to those resigning within 1 month after joining.
• Selected candidates must be declared medically fit by the competent Medical Board.
• Selected candidates get 14 days to join. An extension may be granted in exceptional situations, and if a candidate does not join, the offer stands cancelled and the post goes to a waitlisted candidate, if any.
• Candidates must not have been convicted by any Court of Law, and any pending disciplinary proceedings must be reported in writing at document verification.
• Canvassing leads to disqualification, and incomplete applications are rejected.
• Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the High Court, Andhra Pradesh.

1. Pay the fee and keep the transaction details. The form asks for the amount, UTR/NEFT transaction ID and date.
2. Fill the application form in Annexure I, available in the official notification, and affix a self-attested passport size colour photograph.
3. Open the AIIMS Mangalagiri Google application form, or paste the link into a web browser.
4. Fill the Google Form and upload the scanned application form in the prescribed format, the necessary documents and the transaction details. Applications are accepted only through this link.
5. Fill the Annexure II proforma/check list, which also asks for total experience, research publications in indexed journals and the best 3 publications of the last 3 years in Vancouver style.
6. Submit hard copies of Annexure I and Annexure II during document verification. The signed original application must be produced at the interview.
7. Carry all original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies for verification.
