Post Qualification Required
Engineer UT Testing Full time Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical branch of Engineering with UT Level-2 Certificate (ASNT/ISNT) OR Full time Degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical branch of Engineering with UT Level-2 Certificate (ASNT/ISNT).

Candidates belonging to UR/EWS category (and candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD applying against unreserved posts) should have first class degree/ minimum 60% marks in Minimum Qualification for consideration against unreserved posts. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD as applicable) should have at least 50% marks in Minimum Qualification for consideration against reserved posts.

Experience

For Diploma holders: Minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience. For Degree holders: Minimum 02 years of post-qualification experience. Preference will be given to candidates possessing NDT experience. The period of training (except on the job training) / internship / teaching / academic / fellowship / PhD research experience shall not be counted as a part of experience.

The approximate emoluments at the minimum of the pay-scale vary by city class: X Class Cities (Basic: ₹28,444, Gross: ₹47,501), Y Class Cities (Basic: ₹26,208, Gross: ₹41,147), and Z Class Cities (Basic: ₹23,868, Gross: ₹37,473). The basic remuneration shall be revised in accordance with the rates of Minimum wages notified by the Central Government from time to time.

RITES Engineer UT Testing Selection Process

The selection process consists of Document Scrutiny/verification followed by an Interview. RITES reserves the right to shortlist candidates for selection.

Interview

The weightage distribution of various parameters of the selection shall be: Interview – 100% (Technical & Professional proficiency – 65%; Personality, Communication & Competency – 35%). A minimum of 60% marks for UR/EWS (50% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD against reserved posts) in interview will be required to be considered for placement on panel. There will be no minimum qualifying marks required in the aggregate.

How to Apply for RITES Engineer UT Testing

  1. Go to the Career Section of the official RITES website at www.rites.com and access the online registration format.
  2. Submit the online application form and note down the generated ‘Registration No.’ displayed on top of the form.
  3. Fill in the details of your Identity Proof carefully and ensure the same ID is available in original at later stages.
  4. Upload all necessary documents under the “Upload Document” section after completing the “Fill/ Modify Application Form”.
  5. Complete online payment under the “Make Payment” section if applicable, and download the final application form.
  6. Print, sign, and retain a copy of the application form along with self-attested photocopies of required documents to submit if called for document verification.

Documents Required

  • High School certificate for proof of Date of Birth
  • Certificates of Academic & Professional qualifications along with mark sheets of all semesters/years (Xth, XIIth, Diploma/Graduation/Post-Graduation)
  • Percentage Conversion Document as issued by the University / Institute (wherever applicable)
  • EWS/ SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD Certificate in the prescribed format by Govt. of India (wherever applicable)
  • Proof of Identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card etc)
  • PAN Card
  • Proof of each period of experience claimed in the Application Form (offer letter, joining order, relieving order, service certificate, relevant pay slips in a single PDF)
  • PwBD Certificate as per latest format (if applicable)

RITES Engineer UT Testing Important Instructions

  • The appointment shall be purely on contract basis initially for a period of one year, extendable until completion of the assignment subject to mutual consent and satisfactory performance.
  • Hard copies of documents are not to be sent through post or courier.
  • Candidates should submit only one application for one vacancy, and applications once submitted cannot be altered.
  • Selected candidates shall be liable for posting anywhere in India as per company requirements.
  • Candidates working in Government Departments/PSU/Departmental candidates of RITES shall be allowed to join only after being properly relieved from their parent organization.
  • No fares, TA, or DA shall be payable for attending the selection process.
  • Legal jurisdiction will be Delhi in case of any dispute.
  • Candidates must bring two duly filled copies of Annexure A along with supporting documents in chronological order during document verification.
