• Backward-class candidates other than Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes must attach an attested copy of a valid non-creamy layer certificate showing that they are not in the creamy layer.
• EWS candidates must attach an attested copy of a valid EWS certificate, issued as prescribed by the General Administration Department Government Resolutions dated 12/02/2019 and 31/05/2021.
• SEBC candidates must attach attested copies of the caste certificate and the non-creamy layer certificate, as prescribed by the General Administration Department Government Resolution dated 29 January 2025 (or the equivalent resolution in force at the time).
• Creamy layer candidates from other backward classes will not get the reservation of that class.
• The reserved category must be clearly mentioned in the application. Otherwise the application will be rejected. The application will be considered only under the category for which the candidate has applied, and no complaint on this point will be entertained later.
• Women candidates must submit the application in their maiden name (name by birth), in the prescribed format.

Ratnagiri Tahsil Mahsul Sevak (Kotwal) Application Fee

• After appointment, the Mahsul Sevak must take the prescribed oath of loyalty to the Constitution of India.
• Candidates must live in the saja to which they are appointed and submit an undertaking to that effect. Otherwise the appointment will be cancelled.

7. Small family certificate in the prescribed format. A sample is provided with the application form. Unmarried candidates must clearly write “unmarried” on it. Without this certificate the application is liable to be rejected.
8. One recent colour photograph, self-attested and firmly pasted at the prescribed place on the application, plus two additional colour photographs.
9. Attested copy of the relevant Government Gazette if the candidate’s name has changed after passing Class 4.

How to Apply for Ratnagiri Tahsil Mahsul Sevak (Kotwal) Recruitment 2026

The notification describes an offline process. Follow these steps.

1. Collect the prescribed application form from the Tahsildar Ratnagiri office. The form costs Rs. 50/- in cash, and a receipt is given.
2. Fill in the form completely and clearly, mentioning the reservation category (if applying from a reserved category).
