Who Can Apply?

The recruitment is intended for eligible employees who have retired from the District Court establishment and satisfy the conditions prescribed in the notification.

Applicants must possess a satisfactory service record and must be physically fit to perform the duties associated with the post.

Age Limit

The engagement may continue until the selected person reaches 65 years of age. The actual engagement period will also depend on the date of joining and whether the vacancy is filled through regular recruitment or promotion.

Salary and Honorarium

The selected retired employee will receive an honorarium calculated by deducting the pension amount from the last pay drawn for the corresponding post.

Other admissible allowances will be paid according to the applicable and amended orders of the Uttar Pradesh Government.

Engagement Period

The selected candidates will be engaged for the earliest of the following periods:

• One year from the date of assuming charge;
• Until the concerned vacancy is filled through direct recruitment or promotion; or
• Until the selected employee reaches 65 years of age.

Selection Process

The selection process will include an interview for all advertised posts.

Applicants for the Head Assistant and Senior Assistant posts will also have to appear in a Hindi typing test. The date of the interview and typing test will be announced separately.

No travelling allowance will be paid to candidates attending the interview or typing test.

Eligibility and Service Record Conditions

• The applicant’s character entries for the previous five years must be satisfactory.
• Selection will be based on the applicant’s previous conduct and Annual Confidential Reports.
• No criminal or civil case should be pending or registered against the applicant.
• The applicant must be medically fit to perform the assigned duties.
• A candidate can apply for only one post.

Terms of Appointment

• The appointment will be completely temporary.
• The engagement may be terminated without prior notice if the selected employee’s service is found unsatisfactory.
• The appointment does not create a right to permanent or regular employment.
• The engagement will end when the post is filled regularly, the contractual period ends or the candidate reaches the prescribed age limit.
