Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Junior-I: M.Sc. (not earlier than 3 years) with a minimum of 55% marks in the concerned subject. Junior-II: same as Junior-I + valid JEST/GATE/NET-JRF/Lectureship/UGC-CSIR NET JRF/Lectureship + Ph.D. registration of the student under the supervision of the PI at the University where PI’s institute is affiliated
• Age limit: Maximum 28 years (as on the closing date of the advertisement)
• Age relaxation: Reserve category As per the rules of Government of India

Other conditions:

• No TA/DA admissible for interview.

Who Cannot Apply for SKBU Recruitment 2026

• Canvassing in any form and/or bringing any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Initially for one year, may be extended on yearly basis subject to a total period of three years
• Appointment purely temporary; terminates automatically without notice on termination of the research project
• No claim of appointment/absorption in Funding Agency or in the University
• Appointment governed by terms and conditions of the funding agency applicable to the project
• Selected candidates must join duty immediately on receipt of the offer letter
