Jamia Hamdard (Deemed to be University), Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi, will hold a walk-in interview on Thursday, 12 November 2026, with reporting at 10:00 AM, in the Board Room, First Floor, VC Office, Administrative Building, Jamia Hamdard Campus, New Delhi-110062. It is for seven Guest/Visiting Faculty posts, engaged purely on a temporary basis, in the Department of Allied and Healthcare Sciences, School of Allied Health Sciences and Research (SAHSR). Remuneration/Honorarium is as per Jamia Hamdard norms.

Jamia Hamdard (JH) is a Deemed to be University at Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi, declared by the Government of India, Ministry of Education, vide Gazette Notification dated 10th May, 1989. The notice describes it as a research-oriented organisation. This engagement is for the School of Allied Health Sciences and Research (SAHSR).

Posts and Eligibility

Seven Guest/Visiting Faculty posts are open in the following disciplines.

Essential Qualification

The notice says qualifications should be from a UGC recognized University/Institution only.

• B.Sc and M.Sc. degree in the relevant/core subject with minimum 55% marks from a recognized institution or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
• NET or a doctorate degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University.
• Candidates having a PG degree (min. 55% marks) in Core Paramedical Subjects are exempted from the NET/Ph.D. condition as per UGC Regulations 2018.

Desirable Qualification

• Two years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the discipline/subject concerned.

Pay and Terms

The engagement is purely on a temporary basis. Remuneration/Honorarium is as per Jamia Hamdard norms; the notice prints no amount.

The application form asks for the post and discipline applied for, name, father’s/husband’s name, date of birth, marital status, gender, permanent and communication addresses, educational qualifications from secondary school onwards, NET/GATE status, employment records, a declaration, and a recent colour photograph.

What Happens on the Day

Candidates attend the walk-in interview at the venue by the reporting time. The notice says candidates found not to fulfil the eligibility and experience criteria will not be allowed to appear before the interview. Candidates who report later than one hour after the reporting time will not be allowed under any circumstances. Documents are verified using the originals and the attested copies.
