Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Master’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) or one year diploma in coaching from SAI/NSNIS with 15 years experience

BBAU Consultant (Level-I) (Sports, Physical Education and Coaching) Job Description

The Consultant shall provide professional advice and assistance to the University in the following areas:
* Sports Administration and Planning: Advise on sports policies, annual sports plans, and development programmes; assist in establishing selection procedures for University teams; coordinate with sports committees and federations.
* Sports Coaching and Athlete Development: Develop structured training programmes; identify promising athletes; advise on the engagement of qualified coaches; monitor team performance.
* Physical Education and Student Participation: Promote physical education and fitness; recommend initiatives for women students and students with disabilities; assist in organizing athletic meets and sports festivals.
* Sports Infrastructure and Facilities: Assess existing infrastructure; recommend development, renovation, and maintenance; advise on procurement and inventory management of sports equipment.
* Competitions, Events and External Coordination: Assist in hosting Inter-University and other approved competitions; coordinate with participating institutions and technical officials.
* Budgeting, Monitoring and Reporting: Assist in preparing annual sports budgets and expenditure plans; submit periodic progress reports.
* Policy and Advisory Functions: Assist in framing new guidelines; advise on government schemes and sports-development initiatives.

Pay and Terms of Engagement

Remuneration is negotiable and is decided on the applicant’s last substantive position, pay level, qualifications, experience, achievements and the responsibilities assigned.
