Who Can Apply for CSIR-IIIM Recruitment 2026?

• Candidates currently engaged in any project at CSIR-IIIM must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) before applying

Desirable:

• Research in fermentation, process optimization for enzyme production, enzyme purifications using different techniques in Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services

Post-wise Details

Project Associate – II (1 post)

Qualification required: Master’s Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or from a recognized University or equivalent and 2 years Research experience in fermentation, process optimization for enzyme production. Experience required: 2 years Research experience in fermentation, process optimization for enzyme production. Age limit: Maximum 35 years. Pay: i.) 35,000 + HRA OR ii) 28,000 + HRA.

Project Associate – I (1 post)

Qualification required: Master’s Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or from a recognized University or equivalent. Age limit: Maximum 35 years. Pay: i.) 31,000 + HRA OR ii) 25,000 + HRA.

Pay and Terms of Engagement

Higher stipend (a) for candidates who qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET, GATE or national level exams of DBT/DST; lower stipend (b) for others. HRA only if institutional accommodation is not availed/provided.

• The engagement will initially be for a period of One Year or until the project duration, whichever is earlier
• Total tenure shall not exceed six years including engagement in all CSIR labs
