Panjab University Research Assistant and Other Posts Eligibility 2026

Research Associate (Post-Doc Level)

• PhD in Science/Social Science with Environment Specialisation.
• Knowledge of OSeMOSYS & CLEWS is required.

Research Assistant/Junior Research Fellow

• Masters in Public Administration/Management/Commerce.
• The position under Project II also requires knowledge of OSeMOSYS & CLEWS.

Intern

• Masters (completed or ongoing) in Public Administration/Management/Commerce.

Selection Process

• Selection is through a walk-in interview at the Department of Public Administration.
• Any experience, publications or technical skills you claim must be backed by documents where applicable.
• The University may check eligibility and original documents before it finalises the selection.
• Canvassing in any form, or bringing political or other influence, will disqualify the candidate.

Service Conditions

• The posts are purely temporary.
• The PI decides how many days, and on which dates, the selected staff will actually be employed. The durations in the vacancy tables are upper limits.
• Payment is made per day worked.
• The declaration on the form says that if a candidate is found to have hidden or distorted any material information, the engagement can be ended at once without notice.

5. Hand in the filled form when you report, no later than 01.00 p.m.

Incomplete forms, and applications not in the given format, may be rejected without further review. Once you have submitted the form, requests to change it will not be considered. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
