Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU), Samastipur, Bihar, has invited applications for 2 posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under Advt No. Advt. No. 06/RPCAU/Temp./2026. Selection is through a walk-in interview on 31 October 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: M.Sc. in any discipline of Agricultural Science (Agricultural Extension/Economics/Statistics/Soil Science/Agronomy/Breeding/Entomology/Pathology/Horticulture) with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree; OR post-graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree with NET qualification and 2 years of Research Experience
• Experience: Experience in field surveys, conducting trials/demonstration, data collection, conducting training, developing technical literature, data analysis, report writing, etc., and proficiency in computer and Data Management will be preferred.
• Age limit: Minimum shall be 21 years and maximum Age shall be 45 years (as on closing date)

Other conditions:

• Positions are purely temporary and contractual in nature and co-terminus with the project.

Desirable:

• Experience in field surveys, conducting trials/demonstration, data collection, conducting training, developing technical literature, data analysis, report writing
• Proficiency in computer and Data Management

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Initially offered till 31st March, 2027 or till termination of the project or unavailability of funds whichever is earlier.
• Extendable based on periodic review and satisfactory performance.
