About DCCM Mayiladuthurai Technical Assistant

The District Climate Change Mission (DCCM) operates under the auspices of Mayiladuthurai district to implement environmental, ecological, forestry, wildlife, and climate change adaptation and mitigation activities. The selected Technical Assistant will work on a contract basis for an initial duration of 19 months. The work involves undertaking official travels and performing tasks in compliance with applicable departmental guidelines pertaining to environment and climate change.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (இளநிலைப் பட்டம்) in any one of the following fields: Life Science, Environmental Science (சுற்றுச்சூழல் அறிவியல்), Ecology (சூழலியல்), Forestry (வனவியல்), Wild Life (வனவிலங்கியல்), Public Policy (பொதுக்கொள்கை), or any related discipline.

Language Proficiency

Candidates must possess basic working knowledge in both Tamil and English languages.

Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who possess a minimum of one year of working experience.

Age Limit

Applicants must be below 40 years of age (அதிகபட்ச வயது 40 மற்றும் அதற்கு கீழ் உள்ளவர்கள்).
