National Botanical Research Institute Lucknow (CSIR NBRI), Uttar Pradesh, has invited applications for 7 posts in 4 roles under Advt No. 10/Project/2026. Who Can Apply for CSIR NBRI Recruitment 2026?

Other conditions:

• Candidates must convert CGPA/SGPA/OGPA into percentage as per their University formula.

Desirable:

• One year experience in science communication/popularization of Science/Degree or Diploma in Mass Communication
• Experience in Large data analysis / computational biology / Genomics / Bioinformatics techniques
• Experience in fabrication and characterization of nanoparticles, nanospheres, nanoliposomes, nanoexosomes etc. and formulation development
• Knowledge / Experience in the extraction and processing of materials and handling of instruments
• Experience in Molecular markers development and its applications in breeding of field crops

Post-wise Details

Senior-PAT (2 posts)

Qualification required: Masters/Integrated Masters in Natural or Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Environmental Science or Plant Sciences or Life Sciences or Sciences or Biotechnology; Doctoral Degree in above mention subjects. Experience required: 03 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations. Age limit: Maximum 40 years. Pay: Rs. 42,000+HRA.

Project Associate-I (3 posts)

Qualification required: Masters/Integrated Masters in Natural/Agricultural/Pharmaceutical Sciences/Environment Science/Plant Sciences/Life Sciences/Biotechnology or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology. Age limit: Maximum 35 years. Pay: (a) 31,000 + HRA for NET/GATE qualified (b) 25,000 + HRA for others.

Project Assistant-II (1 post)

Qualification required: B.Sc./ 3years Diploma in Engineering / Technology. Age limit: Maximum 35 years. Pay: Rs. 20,000 + HRA.

YP-I/Project Associate-I (1 post)

Qualification required: M.Sc. in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Chemistry/ Materials science / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Botany/ Pharmaceutical chemistry /Pharmaceutics/Polymer science / Materials chemistry / Nanoscience & Nanotechnology. Age limit: Maximum 35 years. Pay: Rs. 25,000 +HRA PM.

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Purely temporary position co-terminus with the project subject to satisfactory progress and receipt of funds.
• Total tenure of project staff in CSIR should not exceed 06 years.
