In addition to the consolidated remuneration, Teaching Faculty will be entitled to transport allowance with DA on transport allowance as per rules. No other allowances will be paid. Private practice is strictly prohibited during the tenure of service in ESIC.

The application fee must be paid via a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of “ESI Fund Account No. I”, drawn after the date of issue of advertisement on any scheduled bank payable at ‘Kolkata’. Separate Demand Drafts must be paid if a candidate applies for more than one post. Fee once paid will not be refunded.
Selection Process
The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in an interview before the Selection Board.

- Print the prescribed application form on A4 size paper.
- Fill up the application form properly and completely.
- Prepare the required Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (if applicable) in favour of “ESI Fund Account No. I” payable at Kolkata.
- Gather all original documents, certificates, and self-attested photocopies as specified in the notification.
- Report in person between 09:30 AM and 10:30 AM for document verification at the Academic Block, 2nd Floor of ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka on the scheduled interview date.
- Submit the filled application form and attend the walk-in interview before the Selection Board.

- Registration certificate issued by State Medical Council/MCI
- MCI recognized teaching experience certificate issued by the Head of the Institute or Head of the Department
- Research Publications in Indexed Journals
- Pension Payment Order (PPO), in case of retired employees from Govt. organizations
- NOC for in-service candidates from employer
- Service bond release certificate, if applicable
- No objection certificate from present employer, in case of Government employees
ESIC Medical College Kolkata Important Instructions
- Candidates should report between 09:30 AM and 10:30 AM for verification of documents at the Academic Block 2nd Floor of ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka.
- Candidates reporting beyond 10:30 AM for the interview shall not be considered.
- Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate to be interviewed.
- Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for joining the institution or medical test and for submission of other documents.
- No private practice is allowed during the tenure of service in ESIC.
- The Dean, ESI-PGIMSR, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Joka reserves the right to vary vacancies, increase or decrease or cancel filling up of any or all posts without assigning any reason.
