DERC Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
- Executive Director (Tariff): Post Graduate Degree in Economics / MBA (Finance) from a recognized University OR Graduate Degree in Electrical / Power Engineering. Experience: Experience as a professional economist / power engineer, development of tariff in power sector utilities, commercial enterprises.
- Executive Director (Engineering): Graduate Degree in Electrical / Power Engineering or equivalent. Experience: Experience in large public utilities with generation, transmission and distribution facilities, development of Electricity Tariffs, Commercial Issues and Power Purchase Agreements.
- Joint Director (Tariff-Finance): Post Graduate in Finance/ Accountancy / Commerce OR CA/ICWA. Experience: Experience in Financial Analysis of Investment decisions in Power Sector.
- Deputy Director (Tariff Accounts and Financial Analysis): Post Graduate Degree in Accountancy or equivalent OR Qualified Chartered Accountant OR ICWA OR Post Graduate Degree in Finance. Experience: Experience in professional accounting and management of staff, financial analysis of investment decisions.
- Deputy Director (Tariff Economics): Post Graduate Degree in Economics / MBA (Finance) or equivalent. Experience: Experience in economic analysis, financial procedure in commercial enterprises / Government accounting procedures.
- Deputy Director (Info-Tech): Graduate degree in Computer Science OR related Field. Experience: Adequate experience of handling computer systems in Govt. Department / PSU OR large private organization including managerial responsibilities.
- Assistant Director (Info-Tech): Engineering Graduate in Computer Science/Information Technology OR MCA. Experience: Project work in RDBMS OR Web enabled projects, Two years’ experience in Operation and Maintenance of LAN in large organization.
