Note: Vacancies marked as special recruitment-drive posts are reserved for eligible candidates with benchmark disabilities. Candidates must check the post-specific disability suitability conditions before applying.

Category-Wise Vacancy Details

• Advt. 48: 1 Unreserved vacancy.
• Advt. 49: 2 SEBC and 1 ST vacancy.
• Advt. 50: 3 Unreserved and 1 SEBC vacancy.
• Advt. 51: 1 Unreserved vacancy.
• Advt. 52: 4 Unreserved, 1 EWS, 1 SEBC and 1 ST vacancy.
• The remaining nine vacancies are notified under special recruitment drives for persons with disabilities.

The number and category of vacancies may be changed by GPSC according to the requisition received from the concerned department.

Salary and Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive the applicable salary and allowances for the relevant Gujarat Government Class 1 or Class 2 post. The exact pay level, pay scale, probation conditions and allowances must be checked in the detailed post-specific advertisement.

Application Fee

The application fee is payable according to the category and conditions stated in the detailed advertisement. Unreserved candidates can pay the prescribed fee:

• Online through the GPSC OJAS portal up to 8 October 2026 at 11:59 PM; or
• Through a post-office challan up to 9 October 2026, during post-office working hours.

Candidates should verify the applicable fee and exemption rules before payment.

Selection Process

The selection procedure will be conducted according to the recruitment rules applicable to each post. It may include the following stages, as specified in the detailed advertisement:

• Preliminary examination;
• Subject-related examination or assessment, where applicable;
• Interview; and
• Document verification.

The General Studies preliminary examination is tentatively scheduled for 13 December 2026. The tentative subject-paper dates are given below.

How to Apply for GPSC Recruitment 2026

1. Visit the GPSC OJAS application portal at gpsc-ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
2. Open the advertisement corresponding to the post for which you want to apply.
3. Read the post name, advertisement number and detailed eligibility conditions carefully.
4. Click the online application option and enter the required personal, educational and experience details.
5. Upload your own recent photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
6. Review every entry and confirm the application before the deadline.
7. Pay the application fee, if applicable.
8. Save the confirmation number.
9. Download and retain a copy of the confirmed application form.

Only one application should be submitted for one advertisement. If a candidate submits more than one application, GPSC will consider the last confirmed application. For an unreserved candidate, the last confirmed application accompanied by the required fee will be considered valid.

• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in the prescribed Gujarat format for SEBC candidates;

• Disability certificate for applicants seeking PwBD reservation;
• Professional registration, licence or competency certificate required for the post;
• Recent photograph, signature and valid identity proof.

Important Instructions

• Check the advertisement number and post name carefully before applying.
• The online application will remain editable only up to the closing date and time.
• No correction will be accepted after the online application period ends.
• Candidates must upload their own photograph and signature.
• An applicant may be prevented from appearing in the examination if another person’s photograph or signature is found in the application or admit card.
• Keep all original certificates ready for verification or interview.
• Only the SSCE certificate showing the date of birth will be accepted as age proof.
• Candidates should not wait until the final day to submit and confirm their applications.
