• The selected database developer will play a key role in the design of schemas and objects maintaining the established standards, including re-modelling structures or queries for increased performance.
• Will actively participate with the application teams in creating complex queries for the application.
• Will continuously monitor the database performance and engage in tuning exercises.
• Will help various support groups like operations and data-centre teams to schedule and monitor database backups, build and test database recovery models, spin new database instances and setup HA and Replication models.
• Will report to the Senior Technical Program Manager (Applications).
