Kerala High Court Office Attendant Vacancy 2026

Vacancies arising during the validity period of the ranked list may also be filled from the same list.

The ranked list will remain valid for a minimum period of one year from the date it comes into force. It may continue until a fresh ranked list is published or for a maximum period of two years, whichever is earlier.

Kerala High Court Office Attendant Qualification 2026

Candidates applying for the Office Attendant post must satisfy both of the following educational conditions:

  • Must have passed SSLC or an equivalent examination.
  • Must not have acquired a graduation degree.

All prescribed qualifications must be acquired on or before 26 October 2026, the closing date for submitting the online application.

Candidates claiming an equivalent qualification must produce the relevant government order whenever requested by the High Court.

Important: Candidates who have completed graduation are not eligible for the Kerala High Court Office Attendant post. Candidates shortlisted for the interview must submit an affidavit confirming that they had not acquired graduation as of the application closing date.

Candidates can pay the application fee through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. An offline payment option using the system-generated fee payment challan is also available.

Applicable bank transaction charges must be paid by the candidate. Payments through demand draft, cheque, money order or postal order will not be accepted.

Kerala High Court Office Attendant Selection Process 2026

The selection process consists of the following stages:

  1. Objective written test
  2. Interview
  3. Certificate verification

Written Test Pattern

The written test will be objective type, conducted through an OMR answer sheet. The examination will have a duration of 75 minutes and carry 100 marks.

  • Each correct answer carries one mark.
  • One-fourth mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • The written test will be bilingual in English and Malayalam.

Interview

The interview will carry 10 marks. Candidates must obtain at least 35% marks in the interview to be considered for inclusion in the ranked list.

The number of candidates shortlisted for the interview will be decided by the High Court based on the notified vacancies, appointments made from the previous list and the possibility of additional vacancies.

Kerala High Court Office Attendant Exam Centres

The written examination is proposed to be conducted at the following centres:

  • Thiruvananthapuram
  • Alappuzha
  • Ernakulam
  • Thrissur
  • Kozhikode

Candidates must select their preferred examination centre while completing the online application. Requests to change the selected examination centre will not be accepted.

Reservation for Differently Abled Candidates

Four percent of Office Attendant vacancies will be reserved for eligible differently abled candidates in accordance with the applicable rules.

The notification identifies the following suitable benchmark disability categories:

  • Blindness and low vision
  • Deaf and hard of hearing
  • Specified locomotor disabilities
  • Autism spectrum disorder in the specified categories
  • Mild intellectual disability
  • Specific learning disability
  • Mental illness within the prescribed percentage
  • Multiple disabilities involving the specified combinations

The minimum functional requirements prescribed for the post include sitting, standing, walking, manipulation by fingers and seeing.

Scribe and Compensatory Time

Differently abled candidates whose writing speed is affected may request a scribe while submitting the online application.

  • The request for a scribe must be selected during the online application process.
  • The qualification of the scribe must be one level below the minimum qualification prescribed for the post.
  • The candidate must produce the prescribed medical certificate and declaration at the time of the examination.
  • Eligible candidates may receive 25 minutes of compensatory time upon producing the required medical certificate.

Kerala High Court Office Attendant Admission Ticket

The admission ticket for the written test will be available approximately three weeks before the examination. Interview call letters will be available approximately two weeks before the interview.

Candidates must log in to their profile on the Kerala High Court recruitment portal to download the admission ticket or call letter. Information regarding availability will also be sent through SMS or email.
