Central University of Punjab Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Contractual Faculty (B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering)

• Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in relevant disciplines.
• First Class in either of the two degrees.

Part-Time Faculty Posts

The qualification will be as per UGC Regulations, 2018. For subject-specific teaching posts, candidates must fulfil the required educational qualifications prescribed by UGC.

Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany and Economics Faculty

• Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• B.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• NET/SLET or Ph.D. as prescribed by UGC for these categories of posts.

Senior Analyst (Food Testing Laboratory)

• UG degree in Science or Engineering with minimum 55% marks and 5 years research experience in Food/Water testing or Food/Water Testing Laboratory experience.
• OR PG degree in Science or Engineering with minimum 55% marks and 4 years research experience in Food/Water testing.

Laboratory Assistant

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject with minimum two years working and maintenance experience of sophisticated scientific instruments in a laboratory.
• Relevant subjects include Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Medical/Health Sciences, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics.

Laboratory Attendant

• 10+2 with Science stream from recognized board.
• OR 10th Pass with Science as one subject and two years laboratory experience.

• Contractual Faculty: As per notification terms.
• Senior Analyst: One Year.
