Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL), a Government of India Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has released the official notification for GSL Trainee Project Executive Recruitment 2026. GSL Trainee Project Executive Qualification

Mechanical Discipline

Candidates must have a Full-time Regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering (4 Years) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.

Electrical Discipline

Candidates must have a Full-time Regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering (4 Years) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.

Electronics Discipline

Candidates must have a Full-time Regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering (4 Years) in Electronics Engineering from a recognized university/institute.

Naval Architecture Discipline

Candidates must have a Full-time Regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering (4 Years) in Naval Architecture from a recognized university/institute.

Finance Discipline

Candidates must have Graduation along with any one of the following:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI
• Qualified Cost Accountant from Institute of Cost Accountants of India / ICMA
• 02 Years PG Diploma / PG Degree in Finance

GSL Trainee Project Executive Experience

Candidates should possess minimum 1 year relevant experience or one year Graduate Apprenticeship training as on 31 July 2026. Apprenticeship in any industry will also be considered as experience.

GSL Trainee Project Executive Age Limit 2026

The upper age limit will be considered as on 31 July 2026. Age relaxation for PwBD and other categories will be provided as per Government guidelines.

GSL Trainee Project Executive Salary 2026

Selected candidates will receive consolidated pay during the contract period.

GSL Trainee Project Executive Application Fee 2026

The application fee for GSL Trainee Project Executive Recruitment 2026 is ₹500. The fee is payable online through SBI e-pay.

GSL Trainee Project Executive Selection Process 2026

The selection process consists of the following stages:

1. Written Test
2. Document Verification
3. Group Discussion / Interview

The written test will consist of 25% General Aptitude questions and 75% subject/trade-related questions. The final grading will be based on Written Test (85%) and Group Discussion/Interview (15%).
