- All posts are tenable at CSIR – IMMT, Bhubaneswar; project staff may be required to travel and stay outside Bhubaneswar depending on project needs.
- Engagement is governed by the applicable CSIR project provisions (including NMITLI, OLP, MLP, industry-sponsored, contract/ consultancy/ sponsored projects) or non-CSIR funded project guidelines, as relevant.
- The initial offer of engagement is for one year or up to the project duration, whichever is earlier, and may be extended or curtailed based on project duration and/ or the candidate’s performance.
- The total period of engagement of any project personnel under one project, or a combination of projects across CSIR laboratories, cannot exceed 6 years (extendable to 7 years only for short-duration contract/ consultancy/ sponsored projects of 12 months or less funded by PSUs, industries, start-ups or individual entrepreneurs).
- Engagement does not confer any right or claim to regularization against a permanent CSIR post.
- Engagement may be terminated with one month’s notice from either side, or one month’s emoluments in lieu of notice.
