A total of 3 vacancies are available – 1 for Project Associate I (PAT-I), 1 for Field Assistant and 1 for Senior Project Associate (Senior-PAT).

CSIR CSMCRI Eligibility Criteria 2026

• Project Associate I (PAT-I): M.Sc. in Microbiology/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized university. Experience in EIA and field sampling with relation to marine and coastal environment is desirable.
• Field Assistant: B.Sc. in Zoology/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized university.
• Senior Project Associate (Senior-PAT): M.Sc. in Life Sciences and 3 years experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services. Experience in data management and modelling of marine environment is desirable.

CSIR CSMCRI Age Limit 2026

• Project Associate I (PAT-I): Maximum age limit is 35 years.
• Field Assistant: Maximum age limit is 50 years.
• Senior Project Associate (Senior-PAT): Maximum age limit is 40 years.

CSIR CSMCRI Salary 2026

• Project Associate I (PAT-I): Rs. 31,000/ – + HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ ICAR/ ICMR NET incl. lectureship/ assistant professorship or GATE or have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/ DST or equivalent and/ or their Agencies/ Institutions. Rs. 25,000/ – + HRA for others.
• Field Assistant: Rs. 20,000 + HRA
• Senior Project Associate (Senior-PAT): Rs. 42,000+HRA
