Eligibility Criteria
- Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow: Master’s degree in Horticulture/Fruit Science/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Candidate must have a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with a 3-year bachelor’s degree, and must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET, GATE qualification, or an equivalent, or a Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines.
- Field Assistant: B.Sc./3 years diploma in Engineering and Tech. Graduate degree in any discipline.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age Limit: 50 years for all posts.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules for JRF/SRF; Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women (JRF/SRF), 50 years (Field Assistant).
Salary/ Stipend
- Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 37000 + HRA (27%) for the first and second year and Rs. 42000 + HRA (27%) for the third year.
- Field Assistant: Rs. 20000 + HRA (27%).
