BSFC Salary
Pay ranges from PB-1/Grade Pay ₹1,900 (Level-2) for Lower Grade Clerk to ₹9,300–34,800/Grade Pay ₹4,600 (Level-7) for Assistant Manager and Assistant Accounts Officer. See the Eligibility table above for post-wise pay scales.

Age is reckoned as on 01 January 2026:

How to Apply for BSFC Recruitment 2026
- Registration: Visit bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, go to the “Online Portal of Food & Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd.” link, click “Apply Online”, then “Click here for Registration”. Fill in the required details using your own email ID and mobile number, as your Registration Number and Password will be sent there. Change your password on first login after registration.
- Basic Details: Log in with your Registration Number and Password, complete the Basic Details section, and click Save & Next.
- Educational Qualification Details: Fill in your educational qualification details and click Save & Next.
- Experience Details: Fill in experience details, if applicable, and click Save & Next.
- Upload Photo & Signature: Upload a high-contrast, color, passport-size photo and your scanned signature (in Hindi or English) as per the specified format.
- Preview Your Application: Carefully check all the information entered in the earlier steps; use the Back button to correct any errors. Once satisfied, tick the declaration and click “Final Submit”.
- Payment of Examination Fee: Click the Payment button and complete the fee payment via Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking (see Application Fee section for amounts).
- Download / Print Application Form: After successful payment, download and print your application form and transaction receipt for your own records. A hard copy need not be sent to the Board – it is required only at the time of Document Verification.
A confirmation email is sent to the registered email ID after successful submission. Once submitted, the application cannot be withdrawn, and the fee paid cannot be refunded or charged back (except for a failed transaction, which is auto-refunded). Candidates are advised not to wait until the last date and to complete the process well in advance, as the Board is not responsible for internet or banking-related disruptions.
BSFC Important Instructions
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- If any incorrect entry is made while filling the online application, candidates may log in with their Registration Number and Password and use the “Edit Details” link to correct it, only between 26 September 2026 and 28 September 2026.
- While correcting entries, candidates must click “Save & Next” at every step, review the changes at the Preview stage, tick the declaration checkbox, and click “Final Submit” again – otherwise the edited data will not be considered valid, and the originally submitted data will be treated as final.
- No correction will be allowed outside the 26–28 September 2026 window; candidates will themselves be responsible for any incorrect entries left uncorrected.
- If a correction results in a change in the applicable fee, candidates must pay the fee difference online.
- Incompletely filled or improperly edited applications will be rejected.
- At the time of document verification, original certificates of successful/qualifying candidates will be checked against the details submitted online; if any discrepancy is found, the candidature will be cancelled and legal action may be initiated.
- The number of advertised posts may increase or decrease as required. The Food & Consumer Protection Department, Bihar, Patna, reserves the right to cancel the entire recruitment process/advertisement, or any stage of it, without prior notice or reason.
