Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering issued through Non-Distance Mode (Regular Course) by an institution recognised by AICTE, New Delhi, or an equivalent qualification (course declared equivalent to the diploma under the schedule ‘Major Disciplines, their corresponding Courses and Relevant/Appropriate Branch of Diploma in Engineering and Technology’ of the AICTE Approval Process Hand Book); OR Diploma in Civil Engineering issued through Non-Distance Mode (Regular Course) by a University or Deemed University established under the provisions of the UGC Act, or an equivalent diploma awarded by a University or Deemed University in Non-Distance Mode
• Experience: Minimum 02 years of work experience on an equivalent post in building construction work in a government undertaking / public undertaking / reputed private institution; experience certificate must carry the company’s CIN/GSTIN.
• Age limit: 21 to 37 years (as on 1 November 2026)
• Age relaxation: BC, EBC, BC Women, UR Women Maximum 40 years, SC and ST (Male and Female) Maximum 42 years

Other conditions:

• Reservation benefit only for native residents of Bihar
• Diploma must be through Non-Distance Mode (Regular Course)

Desirable:

• Experience in preparing estimates as per map/SOR
• Experience and knowledge of getting quality work done as per approved map
• Understanding and knowledge of quality of construction materials

Who Cannot Apply for BPBCC Recruitment 2026

• Candidates with a vigilance case, departmental proceedings or serious charges pending, a penalty imposed or a criminal case registered will not be engaged

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Engagement for one year; may be extended or reduced on the basis of efficiency and performance as required
