• Plan site surveys and coordinate with institute committees, consultants, OEMs and hospital authorities.
• Finalise technical specifications, layouts and BOQs in consultation with end users.
• Coordinate with the tender team for tender preparation, representation, clarification of technical shortfalls, product demonstrations and obtaining client approval of estimated costs.
• Ensure compliance with GFR, GeM, Make in India, MSE procurement policy and local-content requirements.
• Manage suppliers, delivery schedules, EMD, performance security, BG validity, LD and contract changes within delegated powers.
• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning; lead acceptance checks and project handover.
• Verify and recommend vendor bills in accordance with contract terms and applicable deductions.
• Maintain audit-ready records and submit regular project progress, cost and risk reports to management.
• Monitor warranty and CAMC activities and ensure proper handover of service.
• Supervise, guide and monitor the performance of Biomedical Engineers and site-level teams, ensuring effective coordination, smooth project execution and timely completion of assigned activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
