The Office of the Collector and District Magistrate (કલેકટર અને જિલ્લા મેજીસ્ટ્રેટની કચેરી), Navsari, will form a panel for 6 posts at the Navsari District Court: 5 Additional Public Prosecutor posts and 1 Woman Public Prosecutor post for the Special POCSO Court. Law graduates who have been active advocates for at least seven years can apply. The application form must be sent by Speed Post only and must reach the District Magistrate’s office in Navsari by 19 November 2026.

The Office of the Collector and District Magistrate, Navsari, issues this notice through its Magistrate Branch at Jilla Seva Sadan, Kaliyawadi, Navsari, Gujarat. The form is addressed to the District Magistrate, with the subject “Appointment of Additional Public Prosecutor”. It asks for the following details:

• Your name with surname, present address and permanent address, telephone number and mobile number.
• Your date of birth and your age in years, months and days on the date of the application (attach proof), your place of birth, nationality and mother tongue.
• Your educational qualifications (attach certificates). It also asks for the date and details of passing your law degree or its equivalent.
• The date you were enrolled as an advocate under Section 17 of the Advocates Act, 1961 (attach a copy of the Sanad).
• The date and place where you started practice, with a certificate from that court (attach a copy). It also asks for your total practice up to the date of the advertisement, in years, months and days.
• Any other qualification, with attested proof.
• Your total annual income and income tax, type-wise and year-wise, for the last three years (copies of the filed returns must be attached).
• Whether any police offence is registered against you or any court case is pending, with details.
• The criminal cases you conducted in the last three years, how many succeeded and in how many an appeal was filed.
• Any earlier or current service as an Additional Public Prosecutor, with the period and dates.

Paste a recent passport-size photograph on the form and sign across it. Sign the form, and write the date and place at the end.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

The Woman Public Prosecutor post is for the Special POCSO Court. The notice names it as a post for a woman public prosecutor. The notice gives the following conditions for applicants to both posts:

• Applications are invited from law graduates.
• The applicant must have been active as an advocate for at least seven years.
• The applicant must have been an income tax payer for at least 3 years before the appointment.

Age Limit

The applicant must be not less than 30 years and not more than 55 years old. The notice does not print a cut-off date for counting age, and it lists no age relaxation. An appointed prosecutor may serve up to a maximum age of 60 years.

The form ends with a list of enclosures, with ten numbered rows. Write the details of each attested copy you attach in that list.

Selection Process

Selected candidates will be placed on a panel. Candidates called for an interview must attend at their own cost on the date, time and place given to them, and must bring their original certificates. The notice gives no other selection stage.
