NAU Teaching Assistant Recruitment 2026 – Walkin

Navsari Agricultural University (NAU) will hold a walk-in interview on 20 November 2026 (Friday) at 09.00 AM at the Conference Hall, Director of Research & Dean Post Graduate Studies, University Bhavan, Navsari Agricultural University, Eru Char Rasta – 396 445, Dist. Navsari. The interview is for three posts of Teaching Assistant (Fixed Pay) in Mathematics, Processing and Food Engineering, and Physics / Chemistry at the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Dediapada, Dist. Narmada (Gujarat), each with emoluments of Rs. 25,000/- per month on a purely temporary basis for 11 months.

Educational Qualification – Mathematics

• B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Mathematics or Ph.D. in Mathematics.
• Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade at the Master’s or Doctorate level in Mathematics from a recognized university.

Educational Qualification – Processing and Food Engineering

• B. Tech. (Agril. Engg.) & M.Tech. (Agril. Process & Food Engg./ Processing and Food Engg.) or Ph.D. (Agril. Process & Food Engg./ Processing and Food Engg.).
• Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade at the Master’s or Doctorate level in Agril. Process & Food Engg./ Processing and Food Engg. from a recognized university.

Educational Qualification – Physics / Chemistry

• B.Sc. with Physics / Chemistry & M.Sc. (Physics/ Chemistry) or Ph.D (Physics/ Chemistry).
• Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade at the Master’s or Doctorate level in Physics/ Chemistry from a recognized university.

Other Requirement

Knowledge of computer is must for all the posts. The notice does not mention an age limit. Candidates should check the official notification for the discipline-specific eligibility of each post.

NAU Teaching Assistant (Fixed Pay) Job Description

• Teach subjects related to the discipline at the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Dediapada.
• In addition to the teaching work, do work as assigned by the Principal/ Department of the respective college.
• Perform routine examination and other related duties as and when assigned.
