DMRC Chief Architect Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (DMRC) has invited applications for one Chief Architect post (Post Code 01/CA) on Post Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE) basis, with consolidated remuneration of Rs.182500/- per month for the Delhi office. The age limit is minimum 55 years and maximum 62 years as on 01 November 2026. The engagement is initially for one year. About DMRC

The notice describes DMRC as a Joint Venture company with equal equity participation from the Govt. of India and the Govt. of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. It has been entrusted with implementing the rail-based Mass Rapid Transit System for Delhi. The notice says DMRC has about 14,000 employees, works across Delhi/NCR and other cities in India and abroad, and also provides consultancy services to cities in India and abroad.

Who Can Apply

Applications are invited from persons of Indian nationality who are working in or retired from Govt. Organisations/Railways/Metro Organizations/CPWD/PSUs and have relevant work experience in the Architecture department. The notice lists these conditions, all reckoned as on 01/11/2026:

• Varied experience of working in the Architecture department in Govt. Organisations/Railways/Metro Organizations/CPWD/PSUs.
• Conversant with functioning in a computerized environment.
• Free from D&AR and Vigilance angle.
• Working in or retired from the CDA pay scale at Level 14 (144200–218200) as per 7th CPC, or higher grade; or working in or retired from the IDA pay scale of Rs. 120000 – 280000/-, or higher grade, including services on deputation.
• A total of 18 (Eighteen) years’ service at the Gazetted / Executive level in these organisations.
• Candidates must be working in or retired from the functional grade on a regular basis; MACP benefits and the like are not considered.
• Candidates now in regular service are also eligible, provided they opt for retirement through VRS or otherwise before joining DMRC.

Pay and Terms

The selected candidate is eligible for consolidated remuneration of Rs.182500/- per month for the Delhi office, along with other benefits as per company policy. The remuneration is based on the candidate’s retired substantive grade, subject to the maximum above. The fees of those who retire from a higher grade are restricted to the fees prescribed in this advertisement for the post.

• The engagement on PRCE basis is initially for one year. The term on contract may be extended further, subject to the requirement of the Corporation and satisfactory performance.
• Emoluments are in terms of the extant rules of DMRC.
• Selected candidates are liable to be posted or transferred to any office or project site under the control of the Corporation, in India or abroad.

2. Enclose all relevant documents in support of qualification, experience, pay and pay scale.
3. If you are presently employed in a Govt. Organisation/Railways/Metro Organization/CPWD/PSU, send the application through proper channel, forwarded by the Cadre Controlling Authority of the parent organisation, with Vigilance and D&AR clearance in the Annexure-II pro-forma. Those not working must also submit the Annexure-II clearance.

6. Make sure the application is received by 26.11.2026. Incomplete applications and those received after the due date are summarily rejected. DMRC is not responsible for loss or delay in post.

Selection Process

Screening for candidates applying on PRCE basis comprises a Personal Interview and a Medical fitness examination. The Medical Examination is in the Executive/Technical category, and its details are available on the DMRC website. The selection process judges different facets of knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude and physical fitness. Candidates must qualify the screening and the medical examination, as applicable. The notice says the Corporation’s decision is final on this.

Important Instructions

• No separate communication by post is sent to candidates individually. Instructions and the screening schedule are displayed on the DMRC website.
• Candidates must appear for the screening with the original copies of testimonials.
• Candidates who fail the prescribed medical test will not be given any alternative employment.
• Under no circumstances are advance copies entertained. Only applications forwarded through proper channel by the Cadre Controlling Authority are entertained.
• The vacancy is provisional and subject to increase or decrease.
