Post-wise Details

Engineering Graduate Apprentice (50 posts)

Qualification required: B.E/B. Tech in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute in first class with minimum 60% marks/6.32 CGPA; Passed in the year 2022 or thereafter. Pay: 12300.

Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentice (60 posts)

Qualification required: B.Sc. in Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry or Electronics or Computer Science /B.Com./B.A. from a recognized University/Institute in first class with minimum 60% marks/6.32 CGPA; Passed in the year 2022 or thereafter. Pay: 12300.

Technician Apprentice (Diploma) (35 posts)

Qualification required: Diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute in first class with minimum 60% marks/6.32 CGPA; Passed in the year 2022 or thereafter. Pay: 10900.

Trade Apprentice (180 posts)

Qualification required: SSLC/SSC+ITI/NTC in relevant trade form NCVT. Pay: 9600.

Vocational Apprentice (15 posts)

Qualification required: Certificate of vocational course in relevant discipline involving two years of study after completion of secondary stage of school education recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Pay: 9600.

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Training period of 12 months from execution of the contract of Apprenticeship
• Selected applicants must execute a contract of Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act 1973
• No claim for any adhoc/temporary/permanent employment in SDSC SHAR or ISRO/DOS after training
• Accommodation, if required, on shared basis in SHAR Residential Colonies, subject to availability

1. Register on the NATS portal https://nats.education.gov.in / National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme portal www.apprenticeship.gov.in.
2. Upload soft copies of Degree/Diploma certificate and valid government-issued IDs while registering; an Enrolment Number / Apprenticeship Registration No. is allotted.
3. Ensure Aadhaar is seeded with the bank account and enabled for DBT.
4. Fill the online application for SDSC SHAR Apprenticeship on the UMANG portal https://web.umang.gov.in/landing/.
5. On UMANG: Register & Login >> search for SDSC SHAR Apprenticeship >> apply for position >> fill all the required details >> submit.
6. Upload supporting certificates in JPG/JPEG/PNG format not exceeding 1MB.
7. Apply on or before 26 November 2026.

Other Points to Note

• Applications through any mode other than the prescribed online portal will not be entertained
• No change allowed once the online application is submitted
• CGPA converted to percentage by the institution’s formula, or by multiplying by 9.5 if none
