IPRCL Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for Senior Manager – E3 / Manager – E2 Posts

Indian Port Rail & Ropeway Corporation Limited (IPRCL), a company under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Government of India, is filling 02 posts of Sr. Manager (Electrical) – E3 / Manager (Electrical) – E2 on absorption or on deputation, with tentative posting of 01 at Mumbai and 01 at NMHC-Lothal. Applications in the prescribed format must be sent by post or courier, or dropped personally, to the Chief General Manager (HR), IPRCL, Mumbai, and the last date for submission is 4 December 2026. Indian Port Rail & Ropeway Corporation Limited describes itself as a first of its kind Joint Venture Company between 11 Major Ports under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, holding 90% of the equity, and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited under the Ministry of Railways, holding 10%. • Use Annexure-II (Application Form for applying on absorption only) or Annexure-III (Application Format for Deputation), both printed with the notice.
• Write “Application for the post of ______” on the top of the envelope, filling in the post applied for.
• Candidates currently serving in Railways, other Govt. departments, Central PSUs, Ports or JV Companies under Govt. Control must submit the application with enclosures through proper channel only, along with photocopies of their last 05 years APARs.
• No column of the application form should be left blank; otherwise the form may be rejected. The particulars given in the form are treated as final.
• A candidate eligible for both posts who wishes to apply for more than one post must submit a separate application for each post.
• The last date for submission of the application is 4 December 2026. IPRCL will not be held responsible if a candidate cannot submit the application by the last date for whatever reason.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

The notice lists 02 posts under the combined designation Sr. Manager (Electrical) – E3 / Manager (Electrical) – E2, with tentative posting of 01 at Mumbai and 01 at NMHC-Lothal; it does not split the two posts between the two grades.

• Pay on deputation (both posts): Parent Pay & Allowances + Deputation Duty Allowance + Other Allowances applicable to deputationist as per Company Policy.
• Age on deputation (both posts): Up to 57 years as on 04.12.2026.
• Age relaxation: employees presently working on the rolls of IPRCL get relaxation over and above the upper age limit to the extent of their service period rendered in IPRCL, subject to meeting all other eligibility criteria.
• Essential educational qualification (both posts): Full time Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University. This qualification is not applicable for candidates applying on deputation.
• Required experience (both posts): Execution of Infrastructure Projects.
• Preferred experience (both posts): Experience of working in Railway Electric Traction Projects, General Power Supply Projects, Air Conditioning, Building electrifications, Roads lighting etc.
• Statutory deductions for EPF (Employees’ share), Income Tax, Professional Tax, etc. apply as per rules. The notice adds that the corporation offers attractive pay, perks and allowances attached to the post/grade as per company policy.
• The crucial date for eligibility with reference to age, essential educational qualification and length of experience is 4 December 2026. Only experience gained after obtaining the minimum educational qualification is counted.

For both posts, officers should be presently working on regular (on absorption) or on contract basis in Railways, other Govt. departments, Central PSUs, Ports, JV Companies under Govt. Control or a Private Company, subject to the conditions below. Higher grade pay or pay scale granted under ACP/MACP/NF by the parent department is not taken into account.

Sr. Manager (Electrical) – E3

• Officers in CDA scale: Officers working in PB-2 + GP 4600 (PB 2 + GP 4800 (Pre-revised 6th CPC) Revised to matrix level 7/8 under 7th CPC for a period of 02 years.
• Officers in IDA scale: Working in IDA scale of Rs. 24900-50500 (Pre-revised 2nd PRC) revised to 60000-180000 under 3rd PRC with minimum 06 years of Managerial/ Executive Level Service experience, OR working in IDA scale of Rs. 24900-50500 (Pre-revised 2nd PRC) revised to 50000-160000 under 3rd PRC for a period of 02 years with minimum 06 years of Managerial/ Executive Level Service experience.
• Deputation, officers working on regular basis in CDA scale: Group B in PB2 + GP Rs 4800/5400 (pre-revised 6th CPC) revised to matrix level 8/9 (7th CPC).
• Officials in a Private Company: working at the level of Sr. Manager & above with a minimum gross salary of at least Rs. 75 thousand per month; Managerial level service experience of at least 08 years; and working in a company engaged in Railway works whose Sales Turnover for the preceding year is at least Rs. 150 Crs.

Manager (Electrical) – E2

• Officers in CDA scale: Officers working in PB-2 + GP 4600 or in PB2 + GP 4200/- (Pre-revised 6th CPC) Revised to matrix level 7/6 under 7th CPC for a period of 04 years.
• Officers in IDA scale: Working in IDA scale of Rs. 20600-40500 (Pre-revised 2nd PRC) revised to 50000-160000 under 3rd PRC with minimum 05 years of Managerial/ Executive Level Service experience, OR working in IDA scale of Rs. 16400-40500 (pre-revised) revised to 40000-140000 under 3rd PRC for a period of 02 years with minimum 05 years of Managerial/ Executive Level Service experience.
• Deputation, officers working on regular basis in CDA scale: Group-C employees holding post in PB-2/GP 4600/4800 (pre-revised 6th CPC) revised to matrix level 7/8 (7th CPC) on regular basis.
• Officials in a Private Company: working at the level of Manager equivalent & above with a minimum gross salary of at least Rs. 60 thousand per month; Managerial level service experience of at least 06 years; and working in a company engaged in Railway works whose Sales Turnover for the preceding year is at least Rs. 100 Crs.

• Matriculation Certificate (for age proof).
• Certificates and Mark-sheets in support of the required educational/professional qualifications.
• Certificates in proof of experience, clearly indicating the length and field of experience.
• Copy of the appointment letter for the post in the present organisation, with valid Identity card/Current Pay Slip issued by the company.
• Copies of last 5 years APARs/ACRs (not applicable to officers working in a Private Company).
• Latest updated detailed CV.
• Photo I.D. proof and address proof (Passport/Aadhaar Card/Driving License/PAN card/ Voter Card) issued by Central/State Govt.
• ‘No Objection Certificate’ if working in Railways, other Govt. departments, Central PSUs, Ports, JV Companies under Govt. Control (not applicable to candidates working in a Private Company).
• Copy of Audited balance sheet for proof of Sales Turnover (only for candidates working in a Private Company).
• A recent passport size photograph affixed on the Annexure-II form.

Selection Process

Selection for the IPRCL Sr. Manager (Electrical) and Manager (Electrical) posts involves shortlisting followed by a Personal Interview.

• Shortlisting: suitable candidates will be shortlisted based on their eligibility/experience in the relevant field and may be called for interview. When there are 05 or more eligible candidates for each vacancy, IPRCL reserves the right to shortlist in the ratio of 1:5.
• Personal Interview: may be held at the Corporate Office of IPRCL, through V.C. or at any other location at the discretion of IPRCL. Intimation will be given through e-mail/IPRCL website.
• Document verification at the interview: original documents of educational qualifications, experience, age etc. are verified at the Personal Interview. A candidate whose identity is in doubt, who cannot produce the documents, whose documents do not match, or who is found ineligible will not be allowed to appear in the Personal Interview, and the candidature will be treated as cancelled.
• Medical examination: applicants should be physically and medically fit; on selection, the candidate will have to undergo a medical examination as per the corporation’s policy.

• Terms of appointment: on absorption OR on deputation for 03 years, extendable further as per rules, subject to extension of exemption from the rule of immediate absorption beyond 01.11.2028 by Ministry/DPE.
• Serving Government, PSU, Port and JV candidates who are shortlisted must submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of Personal Interview.
• Travelling expenses will be paid to candidates for appearing in the Personal Interview as per Company Policy.
• Three-month advance notice is required before seeking resignation from IPRCL. Service conditions follow the Offer of Appointment, HR Policies of IPRCL and its orders from time to time.
• Candidature is purely provisional. False, tampered or fabricated documents, or suppression of material facts, will cancel the candidature; if detected after appointment, services are liable to be terminated.
• Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate. IPRCL will not correspond about deficiencies in applications or with candidates not shortlisted or not selected.
• IPRCL has the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the circular entirely or partially without assigning any reason.
